Upload large documents (31Mb)
bojanb
Our client is trying to upload a larger file (31MB) using the Documents tab, but he is unable to do that. Every other document (and from other employess also) has been always successfully uploaded (till now).
Does Appian have some limitation for uploading large files, and if so how much is the allowed file size and can it be increased?
Thank you in advance... BR, Bojan

@bojanb I believe resources.appian.ac.collaboration.MAX_UPLOAD_FILE_SIZE in custom.properties control the maximum value and increasing this obviously will have side effects. This setting, afaik, has a default value of 1 GB and the value you have mentioned is far behind the default value. Maybe something to do with the Upload speed? And also, did you check the current value of this setting?

If you are on Cloud, access System Logs and search for 'hc-custom.properties' file. Open it and search for MAX_UPLOAD_FILE_SIZE. Under the Documents section, you would be able to find this property.
Thanks,
