Feed ID Change
Dastagiri Dudekula

I am using a integer constant to hold the feed object id ( not Post entry ID ). When I am importing the application to another server, the feed object id is getting changing. Due to this behaviour I have to change the integer constant value again? Could anyone tell me what would be the reason behind it?

Object ID of any object gets changed when you import application from one environment to other environment. It is the UUID which remains consistent across different environments. For Feed id ,in my knowledge we don't have UUID associated with it.

Thank you @anshuk611. Are there any alternatives to achieve this?

@dastagirid Another way of doing it is to store the Feed objects in the 'Feed' type process variable and dynamically choose one among those based on the conditions as desired by you. You can create a Feed type process variable from the activity class parameters of the Post event/system event to feed smart service.
