solution to check network folder for files to upload
garym

Hi,
One of our business units would like to store files into a network share and then have Appian check this share for any files and upload them to our document management system.
The upload to our document management system can be done by calling a web service that we have and passing it the file. I plan on deleting the file afterwards.
However, the ability for Appian (we are on a cloud environment) to check for any files on a network share is something we haven't done yet.
I was hoping to have a scheduled process on Appian to check that any files exist on this network share, call our web service to upload files into our document management system and then delete the file from the network share.
Has anyone done anything like this or can suggest another way of doing this?
Thanks,
Gary
