How to turn off siteminder temporarily
shaoyongw

We accidentally deleted all the KDBs.The default Administrator/admin can't login as it is not in the siteminder. How can we temporarily turn off the siteminder and use the original authentication so we can login with Administrator/admin and create accounts?

AFAIK this has nothing to do with siteminder. Appian will not work without its KDB files. You will have to recover them.

As of my knowledge, try to run the Checkpoint script again. If the transaction log exists it will create the kdbs again.
If the checkpoint fails in your scenario, we need to go for fresh installation of appian.

the transactions logs exist within the kdb's I would not run checkpoint. I suggest you open a support ticket unless you have a backup and can restore from that.

actually the server is up now but all the accounts are gone. By default, we can use Administrator to login but this account is not in siteminder so I have no account to login now. What I am asking is if I can switch the authentication from siteminder back to appian itself. I don't know where the configuration is.
