Observation on query sent to Oracle by Appian servers

We observed that DB query sent to oracle were without SQL where clause. Since our application queries tables/views with millions of records. Does it mean Appian retrieves all those millions of records then process them?

Frank, could you provide more details about the query? Appian queries certainly have the ability to be filtered. It would depend on your usage of the functions that make the query.
If you suspect this could be a product issue, then I would encourage you to log a support case and they can help you more directly.
