Lead Designer Certification

Hi all,
I would like to write lead designer certification... before attempt there is a prerequisite exam which we need to clear to proceed further,so please suggest me whether to prepare up to 16.3 or 17.1?

The Appian Credential Exams test knowledge on the latest release of Appian. For Lead Designer applicants we recommend a year of project delivery experience along with completing the Designer and Advanced Designer classroom courses.
