Automatic Checkpoitning

As per forum documentation
forum.appian.com/.../Configuring_Application_Checkpointing.html
Automatic checkpointing happens every 4 to 12 hours & most installations automatically perform a checkpoint approximately once every 12 hours.
Do we know where we have the same setting to run checkpointing every 12 hours as gateway-config.xml contains" auto-database-save="1" "in the vanilla installation.
Thanks,
Abhinav Gupta

We can schedule the check-point script in Linux or Windows.i.e We can make the script to run at the given intervals.
In Linux , W need schedule the cronjobs by editing crontab.
In Win, We need to schedule the service by using Task Scheduler.
