Can Appian be Integrated with Tableau which is a Desktop Application?

Question

The Client wants us to Integrate Appian with Tableau which is a Desktop Application. 
 Is the integration Possible? 
 If Possible can some one help me with that?

According to Tableau&#x27;s website, you can work with data from Excel sheets or a SQL Server. You could either run batch jobs to export data from Appian to an excel sheet and upload them to Tableau, or you could configure Tableau to read data in from a SQL Server that Appian exports or writes data to.

Tableau has drivers for all Appian supported databases. You need to overlay Tableau on top of the database Appian is using (your application business data source or sources) not on Appian itself.
