Integrating Appian with Microsoft Active Directory Federated Services

Hello. Currently, I'm thinking about integrating Appian with MS Active Directory Federated Services. I was wondering a few things: 
 1. Are there any challenges with ADFS integration? 
 2. Any plug-ins to consider? 
 3. Any Active Directory quirks to consider? 
 4. Are there any other options for regular AD sync with ADFS integration?

LDAP tools plugin can be used for regular sync with AD.

Not particularly. There are lot of factors involved. I recommend using separate tools to test your configurations before trying to apply on Appian like ldap browser, SAML testing framework etc. Once you have working configuration then applying them on Appian is pretty straight forward.
