In particular, what is the User Name and Password in the connected systems Object? Is that the API UserName / Password or Appian Password?

As per the documentation, it is the Username and Password for HTTP Basic Authentication.

Hi riang,

I believe they are nothing but the credentials to access the extenal system.

Say that you want to connect to an external system which is Salesforce. You will be giving the Username / Password of that particular Salesforce system here in Connected System Object to integrate with the same.
