We have enabled Appian to receive Inbound Email to kick off processes. We are currently using the pop3s protocol. However, it is my understanding that pop3 can only have one connection to the mailbox at a time. If we set up a second web/app server running at the same time (hot-hot), will that second app server need to be configured to receive email as well? And if so, is that going to break because of the multiple pop3 connections?...

Hi Jordan, if you're using pop3 with multiple application servers, the mail server must be set to only allow one connection at a time. Please keep in mind that imap and imaps (imap Secure) are preferred protocol options when multiple application servers are in use. If you plan to configure multiple application servers, the configurations should be the similar.
