Certificate Problem after upgrading to Appian 18.4

Certified Lead Developer

Hi all,

We just upgraded from Appian 7.9 to 18.4, which includes moving from Websphere Application Server to Apache Tomcat. When we invoke a web Service we get this error:

An error occurred while reading the WSDL http://wastest.prod.blb.de/dms3ws4/Dms3SystemWebServiceJAXWS/WEB-INF/wsdl/Dms3SystemWebServiceJAXWS.wsdl to create WSInvoker for the service {jaxws.webservice.web.dms3.ots.de/}Dms3SystemWebServiceJAXWS and the endpoint Dms3SystemWebServiceJAXWSPort. The WSDL cannot be edited because the remote server certificate is invalid. Check the validity of the certificate. (APNX-1-4045-005)

Is it becuase we need to Import the web Service certificate in Apache Tomcat? I suppose there was a certificate imported in Websphere Application Server and now we need to the same in Tomcat? Or do we need to follow another process?

Many thanks
