Hi Team,
As part of a night job we are continuously hitting a web service in a loop to re-evaluate some of the data set during business hours. We are observing that the process model fails and below error message is found in the JBOSS logs( APNX-1-4044-000 Connection Reset error). During the same time window we checked the provider service's logs and we don't see any errors. So we are doubting is it some issue at our end ; may be hitting the service continuously in a loop ,do we need to provide some time delay. While trying to re-trigger these alerts it all works perfect and completes normally.
Please provide some insights.

You can try spacing out the calls to see what happens.
Recommend you open a case with Appian support.
Hi georgej,
I'm experiencing a similar issue, when i call the Web Service from Appian which is in a loop. Is this issue resolved ? Can you please share the resolution.
Hi Manjunathrc,
We couldn't get into root cause of this issue ;but what we observed is we were spawning around 100 sub processes each invoking the service concurrently (each sub process had to process around 1000 data elements which needs info from service). So we optimized the process in such a way that concurrent calls were removed (each of the sub-process is spawned sequentially). This helped us to eliminate the issue
Thank You George!!
