Document/ Document link retrieval from Filenet

Hello,

I have a requirement for fetching Filenet documents/ document links inside Appian through a timely batch process. Appian will listen to Filenet repository for every new incoming documents and create a case for every new incoming document. Since there is no connected system system plugin for Filenet, Can we use CMIS browser plugin to get documents from Filenet? Please help. Urgent requirement.
