We are setting up a Sharepoint connected system using Client Credentials and we are receiving the following error.
An unrecognized error was returned The following status code was returned: 403 Please ensure that your configuration is correct
We have verified the clientId, clientSecret, and tenatid. Any ideas on what might be causing the error?

Did you manage to solve this? We have the same issue.
In this instance there was an issue with our SharePoint instance, we had to open a support ticket with MicroSoft. We ended up using a work around where we emailed the documents to SharePoint.
Since then on another application the issue has been resolved and we are using the OOB Connected System
