We are trying to display the AWS -S3 objects(PNG file) in Appian using a!webImage object . As you know using S3 connected systems, we can download the objects and display. Requirement here is to avoid downloading the images to Appian.
Configured S3 object security as public then able to view the S3 object (PNG file) everywhere . To avoid the security issues we have updated S3 buckets security policy to private and whitelisted appian server ip's.
After that unable to view the objects from appian (local systems) but able to view from appian server(by launching appian objects).
Please let me know if anyone viewed the S3 objects(bucket policy is private) from appian without downloading to appian. thanks

Hi baratc
We also have the similar requirement. Were you able to accomplish downloading the document directly without storing it in Appian?
Hi Vadivelan,
No we couldn't.. we displayed the link (S3 URL) in appian for PDF's and for images used web image object . Upon clicking the link, users were able to download the document. Hope this helps. Please let us know if you see any other workaround, Thanks
