You can expose a process model as a web service and make this model execute anything you want and configure it to use the "Call Web Service" activity to send the desired data back to any other end point outside Appian (since when you start a process via web service the only item you get back is the process id that's why I am suggesting using the Call WS activity inside the same model to pass more data back).
There's also a public API you could invoke
