Appian Community and Appian Academy are being upgraded. As a part of the upgrade, Appian Community is currently in read-only mode, and user registration is disabled until August 3. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but a more secure, stable, and performant Community experience is coming soon!
The new Appian Community launches August 3, followed by Appian Academy on August 7. During the migration, Appian Community Edition, Appian Academy, Documentation, Certifications, Instructor-led Customer Training, Partner Sales Training & Accreditation, and Forum (for Appian Partners and Customers only) will remain available.

AFAIK there is no IMAP for Appian. Is there a specific reason to not use the web APIs provided by Google?
Requirement is like to get email from different email service providers to a common interface.
There are a bunch of plugins to access emails, but mainly around Microsoft products. You might have to write your own plugin for generic IMAP access.
What kind of application do you plan for?
Can you list some of them. Just trying to fetch the emails. (e.g. from gmail and outlook) to a common interface.
Go to the app market and type "email" into the search field.
