We are trying to access a WSDL available on an internal test server. When we provide the URL in the web service smart service, we get the error APNX-1-4045-005: The WSDL cannot be processed because the remote server's certificate is invalid. Check that the certificate has not expired.

Is there any way this check can be turned off OR is there any workaround for this?

We found this issue even when we are trying to invoke rules hosted on WSO2 Business Rules Server

  • If the browser is giving you the warning too you need to determine why that certificate is invalid, if it's expired then Appian won't be able to consume it. You could try downloading the WSDL and hosting it in a non-https location to be able to use it at design time but that may still fail at runtime, you may want to test this if you cannot have them fix the expired cert.
