We are trying to integrate SharePoint with Appian using the SharePoint connector functions. We are trying to execute the examples mentioned in the Appian Documentation. Our requirement is to be able to download a document from SharePoint and also to be able to upload a document to SharePoint from Appian.
Right now, we are working on the a!shpCopyDocumentToAppian() function.
But when we test it, we get the following exception: The external server for this system [key=nbtysharepoint2013] generated an exception when calling a function [shpCopyDocumentToAppian].
In the server logs, this is what seems like the root cause: Illegal character in path at index 91: nbtyglobal.sharepoint.com/.../Shared Documents/TestFile.txt')/$value

This character at index 91 is the “empty space” in “Shared Documents”. Not sure why this is happening as we are using "Shared%20Documents" in the path property value.
