Hi,
Anyone here has worked on appian to salesforce integration in latest projects. Doesn't latest version of salesforce connected system covers almost all integration needs with salesforce ? like writing/updating to salesforce objects etc. Is it still recommended to use salesforce connector functions like a!sfcUpdate()? For a brand new project, Is there still any reason to consider salesforce connector ?
What are the pros & cons of using connected system versus connector regards to security , support etc ? What are connectors actually ? Are they native to Appian ? In my view , connectors seems to be outdated and better to use connected system and use salesforce SOQL/SOSL to integrate.
Your thoughts & any real time experiences on this will be really appreciated.
Regards,
Mike

This question was raised by mistake . Please ignore it. We are using Salesforce connected system. Confusion came as sales/ business people referred to it as connector.
