How to setup Third party credentials for salesforce in appian administration con

How to setup Third party credentials for salesforce in appian administration console. Please provide steps. I tried doing below: Third Party Credentials->Create->Name =salesforce ,credentials :Field Name and value as username and password of salesforce.Test Connection: checking with expression which returrns true. But the Connection is Failing.Please help.Thanks
