Anyone has an idea how to use SMS functionality in Appian? Bit new with this, so please bear with me.

You would probably go through an 'email to SMS' gateway, similar to what Gmail has for its paying customers. I have not done this before but that would probably be my avenue of research.

However, why bother with SMS at this point? Smartphone users can use the Appian Mobile apps to check messages on Tempo!

The process required to send sms to non appian user. Have any idea regarding WSDL url link where in I can test sending sms or anyway around it? How about using send HTTP Request?

Have a web service for SMS but it would depend on local - haven't used this one but have used other ones from here for training examples. Plus they are free to use.

Have tried this one but unfortunately we done have luck with this. Manage to make it work using send https request. Thanks for your suggestion though.. :)

I posted it last week and haven't seen official approval yet. I can see it in the old (non-tempo) list of smart service shared components

Hi @jessicae, i've just posted an application to send SMS and TTS (Text to Speech/Voice Calls) that uses the Nemox Restful API services, and it's cloud approved, because you only need to execute the Restful API with the xpathsnipet function.
