I'm trying to send a document via a HTTP POST method for use with an OCR service using the HTTP query smart service. Is there any way to convert the document in Appian into a format that can be sent in the HTTP body?

If you have the Base64 plugin already installed, you can use that. If not, log a support request and see what they can do - forum.appian.com/.../e-144748
