I do have some questions regarding integration of elasticsearch server with appl

I do have some questions regarding integration of elasticsearch server with applications developed on Appian. We have setup of 7.9 Appian server it has its own elasticsearch configured for the search, analytic and related purposes. Is there a possibility to use this elasticsearch server for other purposes such as posting our own data (of course in different index other than of Appian's) for analytics and search ?

At this moment if we try to access elasticsearch server on port 9200 it asks for authentication hence its not available without any http authentication to access it. Now if its dedicated to Appian and can not be accessed for different purposes what could be an ideal setup to integrate elasticsearch with our applications developed on Appian ?
