Hi to all,

I am trying to set up a Call Web Service node using an external web service. The service requires authentication. So i checked the Authentication Required check box and i filled in the username and password fields. I tried to click the "Get Services" button and after a while i received the following error:
The maximum time to establish a connection with the remote server was reached.
Location: iris.bankofgreece.gr/.../ (APNX-1-4045-003)

Attached you may find the appian.log file with the respective error. The Appian version is 7.6 and the application server is IBM WebSphere.
Keep in mind that the the specified wsdl url is opened through proxy. So i can view it through an Internet Explorer.
Any ideas?

can you log into the Appian server and ping the web service server ? keep in mind that Appian server is trying the connection on your behalf not your desktop. check http vs https also.

Thanks Venkats533. The admins have already enable the TMG client for the specified url. So i can access the wsdl url through browser (directly from the appian server) and i can connect through telnet in 443 port. I tried to ping the web service server. It resolves the external web service server ip.

I think there may be an issue with IBM WebSphere but i don't know where to look at...

Can I suggest you get support to delete this post and repost without the WSDL URL? It's probably a bad idea to have that posted on relatively open forums...
