We are facing the below error when connecting to an external web service.
An error occurred while extracting the Output Messages to populate the ARVs corresponding to the operation {
webservices.seisint.com/WsIdentity}InstantID
for the endpoint {
webservices.seisint.com/WsIdentity}WsIdentity
and the service WsIdentityServiceSoap defined in the WSDL
xxxxxx:8080/.../v1
. com.appiancorp.type.xmlconversion.exceptions.FromXsdLexicalConversionException: Cannot convert text value from the XSD lexical representation to an object value of type int. Text value: N
We are not manipulating the output, just mapping it to the default output object. What could be wrong here?

It seems the web service is returning the letter "N" in a field that Appian has registered as a number therefore it cannot convert it properly.

Hello
We are getting following error when we try to call web service , after WS deployment for 1/2 days will get this error and then it will start working automatically. Again on new environment we are getting same issue, but we are unable get root cause of this.
There is a problem with task “Test task ” in the process “Test”. An unknown error prevented completion of the task. An error occurred while creating the operation {
test.com/.../}UpdateBranchMapping
for the endpoint {
test.com/.../}BranchService
and the service BasicHttpBinding_BranchService defined in the WSDL
test.com/BranchService.svc
.
