HI All,

Am looking for a way to start a process instance from External System. I am aware of Exposing process model as Web service. I am looking is there any other optimal way to achieve it.If any one have tried or achieved this using Web API can you please shed some lights?

There are plenty of options to kick off a model externally: expose models as a WS, use a servlet (for example: forum.appian.com/.../summary), JMS, email, an action in an embedded interface. There are many options and you can pick one depending on your systems' capabilities and constraints.
