Hello, I have ask to invoke child appian solution from parent java web application passing certain input values. which appian need to use internally & execute process flow & return outcome back to parent app.

Appian is a stand-alone, enterprise product. You will need to implement a web service based solution on top of your parent application to allow the sending and receiving of web service calls to Appian. Then you can configure Appian to return values in a separate web service call back to your parent application to pass back in data.
This paradigm is standard to have separate, external systems communicate with each other.
