We intend to request an SSL Certificate to access the Appian web API’s.
Our question is whether the account that Appian will tie to the certificate will have password reset rules. Our preference is to access a “service” account that does not have password expiration rules.
Thanks,
Ron

Could you clarify on what account you are referring to? Is this related to the Web APIs that are mentioned in this document?

Yes it is.
We would like to connect to the API’s with an application. The app will use a service account on our end that will not have a password expiration. We want to make sure we can have a generic account on the Appian side that will not need password resets.

This sounds like Appian accounts for your cloud site, is this correct? Password expiration for accounts are handled by your site admins and are configured in the Administrator Console.
