Oauth 2.0 callback URL

I am trying to perform Oauth 2.0 authentication for a web service from Appian. While registering for an Application in target system, it asks for a callback URL where authenticating user security token can be passed. Can anyone please suggest me what should be the callback URL?

Mostly the callback url can be your real website url(can also be local host).Thats it nothing much.
The above link gives you an idea about call back url

That I know. My question is when the OAuth 2.0 is initiated from Appian, should not the callback URL be some Appian URL where token can be passed?
