Custom Picker

Since I have been trying to populate custom picker from database I have been getting error:

"Interface Definition: Expression evaluation error at function a!pickerFieldCustom [line 169]: Invalid index: Cannot index property 'data' of type Text into type List of Text String"

do anyone know the reason behind this error as I am not able to find much information on it.
