Transferring/Processing Large Data Sets (ETL)

Hi,

There was an useful page under previous versions of Appian for Transferring/Processing Large Data Sets (ETL):
forum.appian.com/.../Transferring_Processing_Large_Data_Sets_(ETL).html
I could not find an equivalent page under Appian 17.1 ! Any idea if this is changing or not recommended in Appian 17.1 ?

Moreover, the share component recommended "RDBMS CSV Import Export" (forum.appian.com/.../summary) has seem to be removed as well !?

Any risks or issues if we are using this approach & the plugin ?

@Sathish as per my understanding, So far Playbook is not available under 17.1 documentation, it provides a link to navigate into 16.3, but when we talk about ETL, then there is a URL available in 17.1

docs.appian.com/.../Transferring_Processing_Large_Data_Sets_(ETL).md but this URL also shows Appian customized Message: Page Not Found and provides a link which provides the navigation to Product Release History.

And also about the Shared Component, if it is already installed in your local server then i don't think it will any issue if you are using it, until and unless they do not releases any patches specially for this plugin not be use (which i don't think so), as of now Appian removed this Component only from it's Shared Component

@alok: Thank you. I agree to both your replies.

But I was hoping someone from Appian to respond on why is the shared component removed (are there any potential risks, anti-pattern, performance issues) ? And why is the documentation also removed ?

There's a new component Excel Tools has other practitioners successfully export a million records. Please review the component and it's news post: forum.appian.com/.../summary
