Hi,
Assume you are on Appian Cloud and please find below step to access the tomcat log,
- Navigate to your domain/suite/logs or System Logs where you can find the Appian Designer and Admin Console
- Do a Ctrl+F and type tomcat-stdOut.log
Note: The log is maintained in GMT time zone.
I have error like:"Interface Definition: Expression evaluation error: An error occurred while executing a smart service: An error occurred while trying to write to the data store [KONE_User_Development_Database]. No values have been written. Details: could not insert: [USERROLEDT2804] (APNX-1-4208-004)" for days
why i don't have system logs?
Hi, You can obviously check the tomcat log for error details but few of the common scenarios for such errors are datatype mismatch, duplicates, text field having special chars or length is more than expected etc...
You can access the all Appian logging details below:
docs.appian.com/.../Logging.html
I don't find system logs and cloud database in the small nine cube square, how should I set it?
Could you not abbreviate that link by ...? so i can see
They error report is "duplicate key entry", but it is not the primary key duplicate, it is other columns, do you have suggestion how to fix it?
Are you using Appian in a cloud instance (or) managing it on-premise?
