Hi,
I am having issues in my application with values being passed on.
While I am checking my record relationship, I am not able to get the field entries while checking the preview. itemid field is the common field. But no entries are found.
Where am I going wrong? There are two records Asset and Request. Trying to relate both these records.
My Asset Record Fields.
My Request Record Fields
Because of this issue, I am not able to reference any asset fields in my request related interfaces. If I use two separate rule inputs to access the fields, my process models are working fine. But I want to use relationships to access my related records. I know this is a basic problem but somehow I am not able to fix it.
My table looks like this
Appreciate if someone helps me with fixing and letting me know where I am doing an error?
Thanks

I am testing in my interface if I can call the Asset field using relationship.
In Designer mode, I am not able to find the relationship to display the asset field Name.
I had a similar expectation when starting to work with related records. Appian does not automatically traverse the relations and load data. In case you need additional data, you will have to use a!queryRecordType and load it into a local variable. Use the fields parameter to define which parts of the related data structure to load.
oh.. can you give an example for me to understand?
docs.appian.com/.../fnc_system_relatedrecorddata.html
lets see how it will work in 22.1 .I expect some at least minor changes there
Ok. Will check it.
Thanks Stefan.
