Hi,
I have a table ( a grid) to display certain fields from the appian cloud database. In the database there are many tables and views(probably more then 100s). How do I back trace and know from where this particular table is getting populated, from table, view or something else. How to back trace in appian to get the table name( or any other thing.)

You must have used a query entity or record to populate the grid. You can navigate to that query entity -> check the entity constant and you'll find the name of the table (maybe in a different case)Or if it is a record, then navigate to the record that is populating the grid and check the source of the record.
In case if your CDT naming convention and Table naming convention are different, download your CDT XSD. In side your XSD you can find the table name where it @table annotation
