Can we display a message(banner message) on click on next-page link(pagination).
What are the alternative ways to show the message "Proceeding to next page" on click on the link.

The change in the page only takes like a second. Why do you need a message for 1 second?
I want to show a confirmation message to proceed to next page.
For that, you will have to add a submitLink on a richTextIcon. NOTE - If your interface is in a process then you will not be able to use submitLink as it will submit your UIT in the process. Also, for a confirmation, you will have to add a custom paging on the grid.
It might not be the best solution, but if it satisfices your requirement you can try this solution (In case if you are trying to show this confirmation message inside process model).
You can add Next and Previous buttons along your confirmation message (submit as false) below the grid using button array layout and add your pagination logic inside save into. As I mentioned it might not be the best solution but you can try.
