Hi
Can any one help me with debuging in appian.
Actually I am getting the following error:" Expression evaluation error at function a!query [line 3]: The a!queryFilter function has an invalid value for the "value" parameter. When the value of "operator" is "=" "value" must not be null or empty." , when I run my command to view some information.
but the code that is throwing this error now was working fine before. i did some changes in the database and this error started., whereas when I test the value from "test Input" section, it displays the result.
Any hint or help will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

The code which is throwing the error is as follows:
a!queryEntity_18r3( entity: cons!(constatnt_Name), query: a!query( filter: a!queryFilter( field: "caseId", operator: "=", value: ri!caseId ), pagingInfo: a!pagingInfo(1, -1) ) ).data
Hi Madhu, in your code, could you please ensure that the value you selected is saved properly. Make sure the value caseId is saved. In the interface if you are referencing the casId, make sure to index it, so that when it is null it will show a default value and the error will not come
It is because the caseId is null. Try adding the applyWhen parameter. In this, check that the ri!caseId should be not null.
HI Madhu and Vikash Said, Please add defensive coding in your code, Make sure to perform Null check , before calling the query. you can use applywhen or use a simple if statement to check the null.
