Hi all,
1. Is there a way to customize a placeholder in user Filters in Appian record types (For example if I want to give a text that is not part of a filter value) ?
2. Can we customize search box location in record type?
3. Can we customize export button location in record type?
Looking forward for your replies, thank you!

Yes, you can customize placeholder in user filter.
And as far as I know you can not customize location of search button and export button because they are by default which is provided by Appian.
Could be please explain me how can we achieve that placeholder part?
So firstly go to your record type and click on "search and user filter" and then check "use custom placeholder" and write your placeholder name.
Hi maryl0003As Sunil said, you can configure a placeholder for filters, but if you want to change the position, aesthetics, and functional attributes of the search box or export button, you need to create custom Appian UI objects.Happy to discuss it further.
Thanks Sunil Choudhary,
This is only valid for search box, but not for user filters.
I want to place placeholders in each of the user Filters. I want a text in place of Any as shown in the below image(I want any defined text not date):
Thanks Virat
As far as I know, there is no way to update the placeholder text for out-of-the-box record user filters.
And also you can check this

Thanks Sunil for your time.
