Hi,
I came from a .NET background and I have handled lot of data using session concept. I have used session variables to pass the data from one page to other page.
I would like to know if there is any such Session concept in Appian.
Are there any session identifiers that are being used by Appian for form fields.

Hi There is nothing like session here , but we use rule inputs, to be passed among form fields and interfaces
Thank you Komal.
Rule Inputs and Parameterized Process Variables are used to pass data from one object to other.
We use rule inputs, to be passed CDT as well
Hi, is there any way i can input my data into the input rule of the interface acting as dashboard when right after login. Furthermore, is there a way to pass data from rule input into Parameterized Process Variables when record action is pressed (I don't think related action can be used in this case. If I'm wrong, just let me know). Thanks
What do you mean with "input my data into the input rule of the interface acting as dashboard"? What data?
Record actions always take the data as configured in the record. There is no way to add anything dynamically. The trick here is to use these features for the purpose they where designed for.
You use rule inputs to pass data from one object to another object. Unlike OOPS, object aren't related to class here rather they mean the smallest division of an application. More like building blocks. Rule inputs are like parameters of a function which can accept values from outside of them,
