They have name, email, phone, etc but it seems weird that URL isn't an option

Input purpose is used for auto complete not validation.
To validate a url, I would suggest using a regex.
And if you are poor at regex like me, you can use chatGPT to generate them. Works like a charm! (not a promotion)
