Disabling items inside a dropdown list

Question

Hi, Is there a way we can disable few items inside a dropdown? 
 
 I need to show few litem inside a dropdown and should not allow to select those values. 
 Is this possible in Appian dropdown control?

No. That isn't possible but here are 3 things you can do. 
 
 Remove those items from the dropdown. 
 Even if the user selects them, just don't save them 
 Use an array of radio button fields and disable te required ones based on your condition.

4) label the item(s) in question as "[DISABLED]" within the Choice Values list, and if any of them are selected, generate a Validation Error
