As writing in UPPER CASE means shouting, I suggest to fix your tab-lock key first. Don't take this too serious ;-)
The Appian Academy and its online trainings are a great way to start. Check out the Youtube Appian channels.
Hey I was wondering if you pursued appian and how it worked out in finding a job? I’m considering breaking into tech but I too don’t have a tech background. I have bachelors in nursing.
Absolutely! Appian is a low-code development platform designed to be accessible to users with and without formal IT backgrounds.Appian provides comprehensive documentation that covers everything from basic concepts to advanced functionalities https://docs.appian.com/. It's a great resource for in-depth learning. There are several online tutorials and courses available that can teach you Appian development. Look for platforms like Udemy, Coursera, or Pluralsight for beginner-friendly courses. There are also many YouTube channels with Appian tutorials.Appian offers a free trial with access to their platform https://appian.com/landing/community-edition/get-started.html. This allows you to experiment and build your own applications as you learn.
You can start from the appian academy as well as appian youtube channel
Do you happen to have any tech knowledge without the background? It always good to have some knowledge as it speeds up the process but even if you don't, that's fine. You can try to give it a chance using Appian Academy and YouTube channel.
When you have to go a little complex, you can refer to my Appian blog for tutorials and code blocks -
Hi,
First of all, Kudos on your decision to switch careers, Not everyone can manage these decisions. I would suggest within Appian tool, check which role would you like to pursue and you may take up certifications accordingly. If you are not a developer or have never been one, you can consider the analyst role also if you wish to. Best of luck!
