I am trying to open Acme Automobile Reference Application (AA) in the community edition portal. But I am getting "403 - Access denied. you don't have permissions to view this page." I need this to complete the activities in Appian Community's self paced course. Any help is appreciable.
Also noticed that I got the same error for all the applications in the community edition Env. except "Community Edition Home"

Try adding your user into designer or administrator group in the community edition (if possible). Seems to be related with permissions.
I'm new to apian as well, how to get the practicing environment? is it possible to get trail one or something?
Send a support request to Appian, I think it's the simplest way to solve your problem.
I was using the community Edition Environment in my office machine. I had the issue there. But when I opened it in my personal device I don't see this problem. May be some VPN or office network restriction. But it works in my PC, so I'm good.
I don't think that can be a reason. Appian security doesn't work that way.
Sorry, I am not sure how Appian Security works. but I don't have any issues in my personal machine when i was doing handson. but I still get the access denied messages for many basic pages in my office machine.
