Suppose I have an existing application with prefix `ABC`. The application contains multiple objects, whose names start with `ABC_` according to Appian's naming convention.
Suppose now that I want to edit the application's prefix to `ABC123`(for instance in Appian Designer, by clicking the 3-dot button next to the application name, and selecting properties).
Is there a way to automatically update the prefix of all application objects?

I don't think so. It wouldn't change automatically for the existing objects. For the new objects it would be effective.
No, I think there is no way to do that in automatically,...
It's not possible need to do manually.
philippu0221 - there is no way to update automatically, you need to update them manually, if required
What will be the result if you are unable to rename all of your objects as described? What will renaming achieve for you? How many objects are you talking about? This information might help us think of other options that might work for you.
Hi Stewart,
my question was more academic than with a specific scenario in mind.
Good to know that it is not possible to do such a renaming automatically.
HI Stewart Burchell ,
As my understanding I have an application objects with prefix ABC_ i want to change the object names to prefix XYZ_ for all application objects automatically.
Yes, my understanding too. I was just checking why the author wanted to do this, and what would happen if they weren't able to do so.
May be if the application name changes then the objects are pointing to different prefix application has different prefix to make consistent. I think he want to change all the objects prefix
Not possible, you can change the prefix and it will be effective while you are creating the new object but not for existing objects. You should change the prefix manually for the existing objects.
