Error at start of Hands-on Activity W#AA Registrar

Hi,

 

I am new to Appian and trying to go through the trainings before I have an in person training next week.  I just went through the Appian Essentials and Customer Stories and starting the hands-on Activity. 

 

I signed into Appian Community Edition and navigated to W#AA Registrar and get below error.  Any ideas on how I can fix this so I can continue with the trainings?

The Requested Record Type Is Not Available Expression evaluation error [evaluation ID = E5PRT] at function a!recordList: An error occurred while retrieving the data for "W0309AA Vehicle". Details: Record type is marked as synced, but its data has not yet been synced or its existing synced data has been invalidated. Contact your system administrator. (APNX-1-4198-000)

I did try to find an answer in Appian Community, but most of what I found, that even closely resembled this error, advised to send to 'communityedition@appian.com', which I did, but also posting here to see if anyone might have an idea, or at least it will be here for others to find if they have the issue.

  • I needed to sync the information from designer, just wanted to update the steps in the event someone else has this issue and is very new and unsure how to sync.

    1. Open Appian Designer.
    2. Go to "WxxAA Acme Automobile Reference Application."
    3. Enter the "Monitor" tab (should be on the far left bar).
    4. Enter the "Record Sync Status" tab (top bar).
    5. Check the box next to "WxxAA Vehicle." From your error message, this appears to be the record type that did not sync properly.
    6. Click "Start Full Sync." -- If you need to refresh the process to see its progress, press the refresh button that is next to "Start Full Sync."
