Want to understand on the New Portal page.
I understand that publishing a portal will make it public and anyone can access the Appian page, but I have a requirement where I want to expose the Appian Interface to everyone within the Organization and restrict it to members who are outside of Organization.? Can we do this?
Discussion posts and replies are publicly visible
I think portals aren't meant for that. You can use the site object for that.
I agree. just wanted to see if the exposed URL can be controlled outside of Appian so that it gets restricted
Hi Sriram,Were you able to achieve this? by restricting the portal only to the organization users?
Appian Solutions /
Can we create a portal and expose or use it within our organization instead of exposing to everyone in the internet?
Thanks,
Bharathwaj RK
Internal users do not need a Portal. In case you try to minimize licenses, I suggest to contact Appian first.
Thanks . We do not have all users as appian users in our organization.
I wanted to create an application which needs to be used by all the users in the organization without adding everyone to the appian users list.
Regards,
I would suggest you contact Appian re: licensing options.
