Developed a UI where we will be submitting multiple documents using file upload function. And I have published that UI as "PORTAL". Through portal link when ever I am trying to upload the documents I am getting this error. With out using the portal link if I submit the document's through the UI I am successfully able to save the documents without any error.
Let me know if I am missing something or what has to be done to avoid this error in portal.

My name is Liz and I'm a product manager at Appian. We are currently working on a feature to allow file upload outside of tasks and actions! As Nallam already mentioned, this capability works on Portals and after the 23.2 release (slated for late May), you'll be able to use file upload in records, reports, interfaces, sites, and embedded environments!
