Hello, I'm a product manager from Appian who works on portals features. Have you tried checking the logs for your application to troubleshoot further? A 500 error means it's an error the product didn't anticipate, which is why there isn't additional useful details in the error message. We'd be interested to know what caused the 500 error if you could share, because it might represent a possible enhancement we could make for the future. Thank you!
Hi sahithi.mankala thanks for replying back. I got the error resolved but I was using an expression rule which was producing the error as soon as I get it removed it started working but I wanted to know what to do in order to use an expression rule with interface used in portal.
We would need to know what's in the expression rule, could you share what was inside your rule?
I was verifying whether the email entered by user already present in the records or not so that I can bring awareness to the user that it already exists. So, it was taking the email entered by user and then filtering the records for the match and returning a Boolean value.
