Hi there,
I'm a product manager at Appian working on portals features. Being able to pass rule inputs into a portal via a URL is a high priority use case that our team is currently exploring. Would you mind sharing more details about your use case? For example, what external system are you working with?
It's salesforce, etc. any other way we can achieve this, other than portals. for example we can provide single sign on to access the page? any other way possible to get that accountId in url parameter.
The best way to work around this is to provide the user with the ID -- or a unique access code that maps to the account -- that the portal user can manually enter when the portal loads. There is no way just yet to make accountid a url parameter.
Complete Survey is exampled use case.
Ah yeah?
